Our volleyball academy lessons are geared towards youth and juniors ages 6 to 21. Our aim is to introduce the fundamental skills of volleyball, build upon existing skills and prepare athletes for competitive volleyball at the club, national and collegiate levels. Our academy sessions run on Saturday mornings at the Deighton Griffith Secondary School.

Objectives:

• Introduce new athletes to the sport of volleyball with age and skill-appropriate training sessions

• Help players develop and work on the key fundamentals of volleyball such as serving, passing, setting, spiking, blocking, and ball movement. 

• Develop physical volleyball skills and court awareness from beginner to intermediate level 

• Teach players to not only develop volleyball skills but also to develop teamwork skills, have a positive attitude, good sportsmanship, self-confidence along with respect and discipline

Academy Sessions Detail:

Our academy sessions are currently based at the Deighton Griffith Secondary School and Enterprise Beach and run on a term-by-term basis. 

​

Fees are $200 per term or $225 which includes academy shirts.
